Online applications for the innovative new "programme subsidising businesses to employ unemployed people aged 25 to 45" open on Monday 22 January 2024 at 10:00. The programme aims to train 10,000 unemployed people and create 7,500 new full-time jobs.
Businesses that employ an unemployed person for 6 months in a newly created post receive a subsidy of up to 100% of the total cost (salary and contributions), capped at EUR 6,132.
Interested businesses may submit their application online only, either through the DYPA e-services platform (dypa.gov.gr) or through gov.gr at the following link:

Once the application has been submitted, DYPA employment counsellors put forward candidates matching the qualifications the business has specified.
The business then pre-selects the beneficiary, who attends an intensive 80-hour distance learning programme in green or digital skills of their choosing. Once the training is complete, the business proceeds with the hire.
The total budget of the employment programme is EUR 41,331,600 and it is funded by the Recovery and Resilience Facility.
