Training and counselling for unemployed people to acquire entrepreneurship skills in the CLLD – RDP intervention area of the Regional Unit of Serres
"Serres Development Company S.A. — Local Government Development Organisation of the Prefecture of Serres" is delivering the operation "Training and counselling for unemployed people to acquire entrepreneurship skills in the CLLD – RDP intervention area of the Regional Unit of Serres" (MIS 5072611).
The operation forms part of the Operational Programme "Central Macedonia 2014-2020" and is co-financed by the European Union (European Social Fund) and by national resources through the Public Investment Programme.
Its central aim is to instil a culture of entrepreneurship among unemployed people, principally young people, who will gain the tools and skills to find their place in the labour market by starting a business of their own.
The 230 beneficiaries will come from the intervention area.
The intervention area covers all the areas of the municipalities of Amfipoli, Visaltia, Emmanouil Papas, Irakleia, Nea Zichni and Sintiki. From the Municipality of Serres it includes every municipal unit except the city of Serres itself, together with the settlements of Agios Ioannis, Kato Metochi, Krinos and Xirotopos.
The intervention comprises the following actions per beneficiary:
Counselling actions
- 5 individual career counselling sessions
- 20 individual entrepreneurship counselling sessions
Training actions
Subject areas:
- Supply chain management
- E-commerce
- Food marketing
- Viticulture and winemaking technician
Each beneficiary attends one (1) training programme of 80 hours (70 hours of theory and 10 hours of practice in the form of case studies).
Certification actions — Certification of the professional qualifications and skills acquired through the training programmes.

MEK S.A. Lifelong Learning Centre, as a member of the consortium 'MEK S.A. — STATHIS PANTAZIS Ltd', will deliver the training and certification actions under the contract of 10/06/2022 between the consortium 'MEK S.A. — STATHIS PANTAZIS Ltd' and AN.E.SER. S.A.
Contract value: EUR 126,040.00
