ANNOUNCEMENT — CapTour applications extended to 31/10/22

The University of Macedonia is delivering the following in hybrid form, through an integrated distance training and counselling system, in cooperation with MEK S.A.:

Counselling support programmes for 80 beneficiaries

  • Counselling in tourism entrepreneurship and the creation of cross-cutting business plans.
  • Tailored support services for new or prospective businesses (from developing the business idea through to accessing finance).
  • Guidance for entrepreneurs on market orientation, innovation and internationalisation.

Training programmes of 120 hours in:

  • Organising and managing small and medium-sized enterprises, with an emphasis on financial management and the certification of knowledge and qualifications.
  • Use of information technology in tourism.
  • Introducing new tourism-oriented services and products.

Who is eligible:

Individuals or businesses living or operating in the Regional Units of Drama, Evros, Thessaloniki, Kavala, Xanthi, Rodopi and Serres.

  • Target group 1: new entrants to the market or newly established tourism businesses (eligible activity codes attached).
  • Target group 2: employees of tourism businesses (eligible activity codes attached).
  • Target group 3: self-employed people in tourism (eligible activity codes attached).
  • Target group 4: graduates of related fields such as accounting and finance, business administration, tourism professions and similar, who are interested in starting a business in the tourism sector.
