From today, 15 December, the 50,000 unemployed people entered in the Register of Beneficiaries for Cycle B of the action "I put my future on a programme" can choose the training programme they wish to attend from the list of approved programmes at voucher.gov.gr → "Active calls" → DYPA – Training programmes for the Recovery Fund (call) → Selection of training programmes by unemployed beneficiaries, Cycle B.
Programmes are shown according to educational level (compulsory, secondary or tertiary education, and so on) and the other academic qualifications declared.
The programme is delivered under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan "Greece 2.0", funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU. It aims to connect training with the needs of the labour market and to strengthen the employability of unemployed people so that they return to work sooner, as part of the digital and green transition of the economy.
Each trainee attends a theoretical training programme in digital or green skills of up to 200 hours in total. At least 35% of each programme is delivered in person, and the remainder by distance learning, comprising at least 35% live and up to 30% self-paced. On completing the training, beneficiaries sit knowledge and skills certification examinations run by independent bodies, and those who pass receive the full training allowance of up to EUR 1,000 (EUR 5 per hour of training).
