DYPA ANNOUNCEMENT — Applications open today, 27 July, for the programme training 80,000 unemployed people in digital and "green" skills
Today, Wednesday 27 July 2022 at 17:00, online applications open for unemployed people wishing to join the "new generation" upskilling programmes in digital and green skills.

The programme:
- Theoretical training programmes for unemployed beneficiaries lasting 50–200 hours, leading to the acquisition of digital and "green" knowledge and skills, as set out in each call.
- Certification of the knowledge and skills acquired through the training programmes.
Who may apply:
- People registered in the DYPA unemployment register, whether or not they receive unemployment benefit.
- People aged over 18.
- People who have completed at least compulsory secondary education.
Training allowance:
The training allowance is EUR 5 per hour of training, so a 200-hour programme can reach EUR 1,000.

BASIC DIGITAL SKILLS — OFFICE 2016 / WINDOWS 10 This programme strengthens trainees' basic digital skills so that they can enter the labour market effectively. It focuses on the most popular and widely used applications, so that trainees gain as much as possible from taking part. | Compulsory & secondary |
WEBSITE AND APPLICATION DESIGN SPECIALIST The programme gives trainees the knowledge and skills needed to design and program web applications and to design websites using the relevant software packages. It also lets trainees experience the whole cycle of producing and maintaining a website or application — from the initial idea, through design and build, to the techniques for promoting it to the widest possible audience. | Secondary |
E-COMMERCE The programme gives trainees the knowledge and skills anyone needs who runs, or intends to set up, an online shop. Trainees learn how to choose the right platform and the technical elements of building an e-shop, the marketing tactics for promoting an online business, and everything needed for customer satisfaction and efficient internal operation, while applying the relevant legal requirements. | Secondary |
IT SYSTEMS SECURITY TECHNICIAN The programme gives trainees the knowledge and skills needed to install, manage and correctly handle every solution relating to information systems security, and network security in particular, for any organisation. | Compulsory & secondary |
PROJECT MANAGEMENT OFFICER The “Project Management” programme is aimed at professionals who can carry out project management work, alone or under the guidance of a senior colleague, on a project of any kind: technical, energy, IT, marketing, healthcare, reorganisation, or any other undertaking designed to achieve a specific objective and produce a new product or service. The programme teaches the techniques, tools and team behaviours that lead to successful delivery. Participants gain the knowledge and skills of project management and everything a project manager needs. | Secondary |
SUPPLY CHAIN OFFICER — LOGISTICS The “Supply Chain Officer (Logistics)” programme covers the overall management of a business's supply chain, focusing on areas such as the transport of raw materials and finished goods, their storage, inventory management, route coordination and control of the distribution of finished products. It sets out the process of planning, implementing and controlling an efficient and economical flow and storage of raw materials, work in progress, finished goods and the associated information, from the point of production to the point of consumption, in order to meet customer requirements, with total quality management as its foundation. | Compulsory & secondary |
MODERN SOLID AND LIQUID WASTE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS The programme introduces trainees to existing and new technologies for treating and managing liquid, solid and hazardous waste, and to recycling technologies. Trainees also learn the criteria for selecting landfill sites and the environmental impacts these have. | Secondary |
ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT, BUSINESS HEALTH AND SAFETY The Environmental Management, Business Health and Safety programme provides the knowledge base needed to take on and carry out duties in environmental management and in occupational health and safety management within businesses. It comprises five modules: environmental management and sustainable development; environment and production; environmental auditing; good practice in environmental management; and health and safety at work (ISO 45001, the successor to OHSAS 18001). | Secondary |
DISASTER AND CRISIS MANAGEMENT Trainees become familiar with, and come to understand, the concepts of risk, disaster and crisis management, building the grounding needed to approach natural phenomena, the types of disaster and the ways of responding to them. The programme's objectives are: 1. understanding the core concepts involved in recognising and responding to an emergency; 2. familiarity with emergency management; 3. recognising natural or technological emergencies and becoming familiar with how to respond to them. | Compulsory & secondary |
