Applications open for the new cycle of green skills training for 25,000 unemployed people, with a training allowance of up to EUR 400.
Today, Thursday 6 June at 14:00, applications open for unemployed people to join DYPA's new programme for acquiring and upgrading green skills. Applications remain open until the 25,000 available places are filled.
The programme is delivered under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan "Greece 2.0", funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU. It aims to connect training with the needs of the labour market and to strengthen the employability of unemployed people so that they return to work sooner, as part of the digital and green transition of the economy.
Each trainee attends a theoretical training programme of 80 hours in total. On completing the training, beneficiaries sit knowledge and skills certification examinations run by independent bodies, and those who pass receive the full training allowance of up to EUR 400 (EUR 5 per hour of training).

Those who meet the conditions for participation will be entered in the Register of Beneficiaries and will be able to choose the training programme they want from the list on offer.
