Applications to select a training programme are now open for the "Training programme for 10,000 unemployed recipients of the Minimum Guaranteed Income and homeless people, with subsidies for businesses employing them". Beneficiaries who have received a referral note and have been pre-selected by a business may choose the training programme they wish to attend at:

Programme selection remains open until the available places are filled. Each trainee attends an in-person theoretical training programme of 80 hours in total in high-demand fields, in the occupations of "office work" and "sales". On completing the training, beneficiaries sit knowledge and skills certification examinations run by independent bodies, and those who pass receive the full training allowance of up to EUR 400 (EUR 5 per hour of training).
The programme, with a total budget of EUR 151,666,000, aims to connect training with the needs of the labour market and to strengthen the employability of unemployed people so that they return to work sooner. It is delivered under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan "Greece 2.0", funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.
