On Thursday 8 August, unemployed beneficiaries began selecting their green skills training programme at:

Programmes are shown according to educational level (compulsory, secondary or tertiary education, and so on) and the other academic qualifications declared.
The list of programmes on offer is expanded continuously as they are approved by an independent assessor.
The continuing vocational training programme, for a total of 50,000 unemployed people, is delivered under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan "Greece 2.0", funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU. It aims to connect training with the needs of the labour market and to strengthen the employability of unemployed people so that they return to work sooner, as part of the green transition of the economy.
Each trainee attends a theoretical training programme of 80 hours in total. On completing the training, beneficiaries sit knowledge and skills certification examinations run by independent bodies, and those who pass receive the full training allowance of up to EUR 400 (EUR 5 per hour of training).
