Within two days, applications on the voucher.gov.gr platform for the programme "Reskilling and upskilling in tourism" exceeded the number of places available.
Between midday on Wednesday 30/10/2024 and today, 1/11/2024, more than 40,000 applications had been submitted — more than twice the 20,000 places the programme covers. Given the level of interest and the finite number of places, the platform will not continue to accept applications.
The programme is funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Facility, with a budget of EUR 45,029,950, and aims at the upskilling and reskilling of people working in tourism as a necessary condition for the policies and measures that will transform the tourism development model. It is addressed to those who have completed at least two hundred (200) days of insured work in tourism over the past decade.
