SKILLS DEVELOPMENT FOR EMPLOYEES IN THE INTERVENTION AREA OF THE SUSTAINABLE URBAN DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY (SUD) OF SERRES
THE SERRES CHAMBER OF COMMERCE is delivering the operation "Skills development for employees in the intervention area of the Sustainable Urban Development Strategy (SUD) of Serres" (MIS 5069037).
The operation forms part of the Operational Programme "Central Macedonia 2014-2020" and is co-financed by the European Union (European Social Fund) and by national resources through the Public Investment Programme.
The aim of the plan is to strengthen the adaptability of employees working in businesses across every production sector operating in the intervention area of the Sustainable Urban Development Strategy (SUD) of Serres.
There are 100 beneficiaries, all employed within the SUD intervention area of Serres, and the action is directed at upgrading their qualifications and strengthening their skills.
Delivery of the operation covers counselling services, training and certification of knowledge.
The full action plan comprises:
Career guidance counselling
2 individual sessions per beneficiary
Vocational training

Duration: 110 hours (105 hours of theory and 5 hours of case studies) |
Supply chain management officer |
Duration: 111 hours (105 hours of theory and 6 hours of case studies) |
E-commerce systems consultant |
Duration: 111 hours (105 hours of theory and 6 hours of case studies) |
Field sales representative |
Duration: 110 hours (105 hours of theory and 5 hours of case studies) |
Each beneficiary attends one (1) training programme.
Certification of professional qualifications and skills
Certification of the professional qualifications and skills acquired through the training programmes.
Sub-project 1: "COUNSELLING — TRAINING — CERTIFICATION"
MEK S.A. Lifelong Learning Centre, as a member of the consortium 'MEK S.A. — STATHIS PANTAZIS Ltd', will deliver the counselling, training and professional certification actions under the contract of 26/07/2022 between the consortium 'MEK S.A. — STATHIS PANTAZIS Ltd' and the SERRES CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.
