"Counseling, Support, Training, Certification and Promotion in Employment of Unemployed people aged 30-49 years in technical skills of cutting-edge industries"
The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, Sector of Employment and Social Economy, Sub-Directorate II-Actions of the Sector of Employment, acting as a beneficiary in accordance with Article 3 of Law 4314/2014 (Government Gazette 265/A) (which has been updated and is still valid today), undertakes the implementation of the a ct with MIS code 5037981: "Counseling, Support, Training, Certification, and Promotion in Employment of Unemployed People aged 30–49 years in Technical Skills of Cutting Edge Industries."
The action is supported by Greek and EU funding (European Social Fund) through the Operational Program "Human Resources Development, Education, and Lifelong Learning", and falls under Priority Axis 2 "Improvement of Employment Prospects and Human Resources Skills Development", 4 "Human Resources Development in the Region of Central Greece", and 5, "Human Resources Development in the South Aegean Region".
The object of the action is the provision of professional counselling services as well as continuing vocational training (both theoretical and practical) and certification to 10,000 unemployed registered with OAED, aged between 30 to 49 years old, in the fields of technical professions:
• manufacturing/industry, construction,
• healthcare,
• tourism and food.
