The Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Social Solidarity, Sector of Employment and Social Economy (ED NSRF APKO), acting as a beneficiary in accordance with Article 3 of Law 4314/2014 (Government Gazette 265/A), undertakes the implementation of, entitled "Training and certification of Unemployed 29–64 years in cutting edge industries."

The action is supported by Greek and EU funding (European Social Fund) through the Operational Program "Human Resources Development, Education, and Lifelong Learning".

The goal of the action is to provide continuing vocational training services in fields with growth potential, as well as counselling support and certification of knowledge and skills obtained under the action, to 23,000 unemployed people aged between 29 to 64 years old.

In particular, a package of interventions will be implemented as part of the effort, which will include:

• A one hundred and twenty (120) hour theoretical training programme in one of the cutting-edge branches listed in table 3 of the present.

• Consulting support with objectives: a) the selection of the training program that the beneficiaries will attend based on their educational and professional profile, skills, and interests b) the appropriate match between the beneficiaries' profiles and available internships in cooperating companies c) the preparation of the unemployed for their transition to the internship company's working environment, as well as the labour market more broadly, and their integration/reintegration in it d) the monitoring and support of the beneficiaries during the implementation of their internship and e) where possible, the conversion of the internship of the beneficiaries into a contract of employment.

• Certification of knowledge and skills that will be acquired under the training program.

• Internship in companies in the private sector of the economy with a total duration of five hundred (500) hours, which will not exceed five months. The internship can be carried out in companies of the wider public sector solely for the training programmes in specialties of the agricultural sector.

The information of the interested parties for the action but also for issues that will arise during its implementation, will be carried out, according to the terms of the present, through the website http://www.voucher.gov.gr. Training providers will receive information from the website http://www.voucher.gov.gr

Through the same website, the managing authority will provide ongoing information to individuals who are interested, allowing them to participate in each stage of the action's implementation.
